Nutrition & Dietetics

The department of Nutrition & Dietetics was established in the year 2013. Our department offers a 3 years under graduate programme with a sanctioned strength of 35 students that equip them professionally to succeed in the fast growing technological world. Each student is trained professionally with utmost care and attention alongside with the usage of department library having more than 600 books and wifi facility.

The B.Sc. in Nutrition and Dietetics program integrates knowledge from various disciplines such as biochemistry, physiology, microbiology, psychology, and sociology to provide a holistic understanding of the role of nutrition in health and disease. The curriculum includes courses in human nutrition, food science, community nutrition, therapeutic diets, and research methods. Students will also have opportunities to gain practical experience through internships, clinical rotations, and community outreach progrme

Our department has a well equipped laboratory that inculcaltes both analytical & dietetic skills for students.

Our department provides the skill set for students that fits into healthcare, research, education, industry, sports, communication and so much more.

Nutrition degree can take students far beyond the clinic. It provides enormous job opportunities such as clinical nutritionist, research scientist, public health nutritionist, nutrition writer, health coach, product developer, sports nutritionist, policy advisor, dietetic practioner etc..,
