About the Department
The PG and Research Department of Computer Science (CS) at Dr. Kalaignar Government Arts College, Kulithalai was established in the year 2007. We offer a three-year UG course (B.Sc CS) designed to help students become experts in the world of computers. With a sanctioned strength of 35 students, we ensure that every student receives personal attention and a high-quality education. Apart from this, we also offer a two-year PG course (M.Sc CS) established in 2012, with a sanctioned strength of 33 students. The lessons are easy to understand and cover important skills like building websites, creating mobile apps, and learning popular programming languages like C++, Java, PHP, Python, Computer Fundamentals, Data Structures and Algorithms. After finishing the PG degree, students can pursue their research through Ph.D degree.
