About the Department

The Department of Chemistry was established in 2017 with a sanctioned strength of 30 students. Students who studied the first group in higher secondary education (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology) choose Mathematics as their allied subject. Students from the second group (Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology) opt for Zoology as their allied subject during the first year. The faculty members of the department are dedicated to providing individual care and ensuring smooth and effective teaching of the subjects. The department is equipped with an LCD projector, which supports interactive and live classroom teaching. The department also has a well-equipped laboratory with modern instruments and facilities, including:

• Electrical Centrifuge Machine
• Water Analyzer Kit
• Analytical Chemical Balance
• Digital Hot Air Oven
• Suction Pump

In addition, the department encourages students to appear for competitive examinations such as JAM and GATE to pursue higher studies and enhance their academic and career opportunities.
